See what happens when you hire a good DUI lawyer? You can avoid DUI charges!

This is likely happening to celebrity DUI offender Justin Bieber. According to TMZ, prosecutors are likely not going to charge Bieber with drunk driving, resisting arrest and driving without a proper license. Hallelujah!

In exchange, Bieber may likely plead guilty to reckless driving. Reckless driving is a lesser offense than a DUI. It can result in fines that can cost up to $500 depending on the case and 4 points added to your driving record. It also results in probation. Sources are stating that Bieber may be on probation for a year if this deal goes through.

Bieber was arrested for drunk driving in January and was also charged with resisting arrest and driving without a license. This arrest occurred after Bieber was allegedly drag racing. Bieber admitted to be under the influence of alcohol, marijuana and prescription drugs.

Part of the punishment for a DUI in Florida includes random drug testing. However, Bieber may be able to avoid that punishment as well. Reports have stated that Bieber is addicted to prescription drugs, marijuana and codeine-infused cough medicine known as “sizzurp”. His alleged substance abuse hit the newsstands after his Los Angeles home was raided following an egg-throwing incident that involved his neighbor. This issue is still unresolved.

So, what do you think? Is Justin Bieber getting off too easy in this DUI case? Should he pay the full penalties for drinking and driving? As you probably know there was questionable evidence and the arresting officer wasn’t all that reliable. What kind of punishment do you think Justin Bieber deserves? Deportation?
