Two celebrity chefs were in the news recently for their respective DUI arrests. Bryan Voltaggio and Todd English are both dealing with the aftermath of their drunk driving arrests by making a court appearance and entering rehab.

You may remember Bryan Voltaggio from season 6 of ‘Top Chef’. Voltaggio also appeared on season 5 of ‘Top Chef Masters’. He’s also a restaurateur, owning a bunch of different restaurants including VOLT, Range and Family Meal.

Voltaggio was arrested for a DUI on June 6 in Baltimore, Maryland. His arrest came right after the opening of his newest restaurant, Aggio.

Voltaggio appeared in court on Friday, September 19 to plead guilty to his charges. He was sentenced to probation before judgement. This is a conviction alternative, allowing Voltaggio to eventually erase his DUI charge from his record.

Celebrity chef and rumored playboy Todd English was arrested on August 31 in the Hamptons, but he has since attempted to get his act together. English, who has a court date on October 1, has entered an outpatient rehab program, according to a source.

Additionally, English is becoming more involved with charity work since his DWI arrest. He made an appearance at a Food Bank for New York City event on Tuesday, September 23, 2014. English is an ambassador and board member for this charity that aims to end hunger and provide educational opportunities for children. English also plans on being involved with Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October.

If convicted of a DWI, English may have to pay expensive fines, lose his driver’s license or even install the dreaded ignition interlock.
