Chris Kattan took to Twitter after his DUI arrest early yesterday morning. Kattan was arrested on February 10, 2014 on the 101 Freeway outside of Los Angeles after crashing into a Department of Transportation vehicle at a construction site. When police arrived to the scene, Kattan admitted to being under the influence of prescription drugs.

Kattan was booked for misdemeanor DUI charges and authorities told “The Wrap” that Kattan was cooperative throughout the booking process. Kattan is due to appear in court the first week in March.

Around 12:30 yesterday, Kattan hit up Twitter to set the record straight. He tweeted:

“Those concerned or just adding gossip: I’m fine, passed all tests, released without bail, have drivers license, cop offered to drive me home.”

He then tweeted, “If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say it at all.”

Finally, he tweeted, “I just got back from a 15 hr flight after touring out of the country. I was exhausted. The Police were so kind. I’m lucky nobody was hurt.”

David Cassidy Gets Divorced

David Cassidy

Things are getting worse for David Cassidy. After officially being charged with his third DUI, he and his wife Sue have filed for divorce. The couple was married for 23 years.

“This has been looming for some time,” Sue told TMZ. “I am truly heartbroken that our marriage is ending.”

Cassidy was arrested for a DUI about a month ago near the LAX airport. He was also arrested for a DUI last August and in November of 2010.

Apparently, David Cassidy and Sue have been separated for about four months now. They have a 23-year old son together named Beau. Cassidy is also father to “Arrow” actress Katie Cassidy with ex-girlfriend Sherry Williams. In a somewhat odd coincidence, Katie Cassidy’s character on “Arrow” got a DUI this season. Interesting…
