The city of Carmel, Indiana recently released the arrest video of Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay.

Irsay was arrested for a DUI on March 16, 2014. The video is from the dash cam of the arresting officer. The officer had initially stopped Irsay near Horseferry Road and Main Street after witnessing Irsay driving erratically.

The arrest report stated that when Irsay exited his vehicle, he was unsteady on his feet. Two officers “continuously had to support Irsay in order to prevent him from falling over.”

After searching Irsay’s vehicle, the officers “recovered numerous prescription medication bottles containing pills.” They also found $29,029 in cash.

It was later determined that Irsay had hyrdocodone, oxycodone and Xanax in his system. Irsay had previously spoken about his addiction to prescription painkillers, saying his dependence started due to chronic pain in his hip and lower back. He was treated for drug addiction in 2002.

Shortly after his arrest, Irsay entered a rehab program. His daughter, Carlie Irsay-Gordon, took over his daily operations for the Colts during this time.

Irsay plead guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He has been sentenced to one year probation where his alcohol consumption will be monitored. Irsay’s driver’s license has also been suspended for one year and 40 days.

The NFL also penalized Irsay for his actions. He was suspended for six games and fined $500,000. During his suspension, Irsay was prohibited from using social media and doing interviews. HIs suspension ended on October 10. Take a look at the arrest video:
