You guys, Jim Jones flies HIGH. No lie. You know this. However, the rapper also drives high

The rapper whose real name is Joseph Guillermo Jones II was busted for a DUI in the Bronx early this morning, October 2, 2013. Apparently, Jones was pulled over for speeding on a highway. When police approached his vehicle (a Chevy Impala, no less), they noticed his eyes were bloodshot and he clearly looked like he was under the influence of SOMETHING.

Jones took the field sobriety test and failed. Jones was later taken to the police station for a breathalyzer test. However, he was charged with driving under the influence of drugs. His drug of choice? Marijuana.

Jim Jones can get in a lot of trouble for this. Some of the consequences for a DUI (or DWI – driving while intoxicated) in New York include a license suspension, expensive fines and even mandatory jail time.

Jones is best known for his single “We Fly High” which is from his third studio album, Hustler’s POME (Product of My Environment). Originally a member of the hip hop collective, The Diplomats, Jones is also the CEO of Diplomat Records with rapper, Cam’ron.

Jim Jones is also known for being a music video director. However, he directs under the pseudonym, CAPO. He’s directed videos for Cam’ron, Juelz Santana, Remy Ma and State Property.

We’ll keep you posted as to what’s going to happen to Jones after this arrest. So far, no news on whether he’s been released or not or when he’s due to appear in court. However, you know the Lush Crush will keep ya posted!
